Dear Family & Friends:
This January a very special event will be taking place. Mountain Brook Band Association will host the First Mountain Brook High school Band "Feed the Need Event!" The band is excited about this event, not only because it is a tool to provide much-needed funding for our trip to participate in the Worldstrides Heritage Music Festival this April in New York City, but also because it is an opportunity for us to serve together as we pack, seal and ship over 10,000 meals to children in orphanages in Haiti.
Mountain Brook High School Band has a devoted faculty that is committed to the social and musical development of its students. It is our hope that the funds we raise from this year's event will enable our school to fulfill our humanitarian service project and compete in the symphonic band competition with Worldstrides Heritage Music Festival.
Our family goal is to raise $5,000 in personal sponsorships through friends and family. We have already made a generous contribution toward our goal. Would you join us as a financial sponsor? Your help is hugely important!
